How to make pompoms1. STEP #1 : Cut 2 cardboard discs, between 1 1/2 in. and 3 in. diameter (depending on desired finished size) with a 1/4 in hole in the center. Cut strand of yarn 4 yd. to 6 yd. long, run double in yarn needle.Wrap yarn through center hole and over edges as shown in diagram.
2. STEP #2 : When hole is well-filled and discs are covered, cut around edges with sharp scissors.
3. STEP #3" Slip a piece of yarn between discs, wrap a time or two and tie. Pull the discs off and fluff up the pom-pons
